Rolex watches have a very rich and detailed history. The company was originally founded by two men: Hans Wilsdorf and his brother-in-law Alfred Davis. They were originally named Wilsdorf and Davis and eventually they would become named Rolex SA in 1905 and would be located in London England.
In 1908 the Rolex name was trademarked and they opened an office in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland and created what would eventually evolve into the classic and iconic brand they have become today.
In today’s society, Rolex watches are very highly regarded and considered a status symbol.
