This is an all American made Tall Case Clock
It was made for the Rev. John Anderson in 1820 by Christopher Huikle in Belmont Co., Ohio.
The case is 8’ tall x 19” wide with broken arch pediment full columns on the bonnet. We believe is made of Walnut and Maple.
The dial is made from wood and depicts Saint George slaying a dragon.
The movement has wooden plates and brass gears, also it features a calendar, it run and keeps great time. The hand made from brass.
We have the original letter stating the provenience and age of this clock.
